Martin O’Brien played a role in Wicklow’s win over Dublin in the Leinster Vocational Schools Semi final. They now advance to the final and we wish Martin and Wicklow all the best against Meath!

Congratulations to Martin O’Brien for playing a major role in Wicklow’s recent Leinster Vocational School’s 1/4 final victory over Wexford this week. Wicklow ran out 4-18 to 2-4 winners and Martin was impressive throughout. The team now enter the semi finals and we wish Martin and Wicklow all the best.

Annacurra GAA club lost a great sevant this week with the passing of Miley Byrne. Miley played for Annacurra in his youth and has been a magnificant supporter to the club. His presence at the wall of the dressing room during Annacurra matches was always assured. It was with great sadness that the club learned of his passing and we would like to express our condolences to his wife Elizabeth, his brothers John, Kevin and Denis, sisters Mary, Maggie, Vera, Ellie and Christina, and to his relatives and friends.
