The Annacurra GAA golf classic was played on Friday 4th September in some extreme conditions to the say the least. With the going soft to extremely soft, well done to all who played. In second place on 86 points was Pat Nolan, Stephen Moran, Liam Carroll and Tony Stedman. The third place team was sponsored by Heat Merchants. The team scored 84 points and consisted of Owen Lacey, Jim Butler, Sean Whelan and Michael Lilis. Michael Shannon’s sponsored team took fourth place and it consisted of Richard Price, Ger Murphy, Seamus Shanley and Keith Byrne. Johnny Thompson led his team to the Non GUI prize with 82 points. He was assisted by Pat Kane, Eamonn Quill and Brian Quill. The final team prize also goes to a member of our mangement team with Paddy Molloy’s team taking the second Non GUI prize with 74 points. His team consisted of Alan Kelly, J.J Smith, Ian Curran and Kevin Byrne (not Kevin from Kilpipe)
