Annacurra finally have a good club man on the county board. Our heartiest congratulations to Martin Fitzgerald upon being elected Vice Chairman of the Wicklow GAA County Board on Saturday the 1st of December 2012 at the county’s annual convention.

Martin had to beat off close opposition from Damien Byrne of Kiltegan in a tight vote of 78 to 75.

Martin has previously been chairman of the Annacurra GAA club and is currently our fixtures and pitch secretary. He has been a stalwart of the club for years and we would like to wish him every success in his forthcoming role.
