The juvenile club had its AGM recently where there was a decision to change the joint name of Annacurra/Aughrim back to the old reliable, Derry Gaels. The officers elected on the night were as follows: Chairman – Brian Barnes, Vice Chairman – Sean O’Shea, Secretary – Deborah Doyle and Treasurer – Dorothy Shannon.Good Luck to all the juveniles in the club for the coming year and hopefully the return to the old name will bring a new found look.

The date for the Dinner Dance has been set for Friday 24th Februaury at 8pm in Murphy’s Pub, Tinahely. Music on the night is by Theresa & The Stars. The tickets cost €25 and there is a limited number of tickets so get your tickets fast before they’re sold out.
